Lectric Bike Review: XP 3.0 vs. XP Lite 2.0
March 9, 2025 | by Max Rider

In this ultimate Lectric bike review, we dive into the rise of electric bikes as game-changers in personal mobility, and how Lectric has quickly emerged as one of the top names in this exploding market. With sales of over 400,000 electric bikes, Lectric knows a thing or two about value, performance, and reliability. Therefore, in this Lectric bike review, I am going to discuss my experience with two fantastic models — Lectric XP 3.0 and Lectric XP Lite 2.0.
Lectric XP 3.0: Power Meets Practicality
The Lectric XP 3.0 Long-Range Electric Bike is an absolute knockout of a first impression. Offered in crisp white with a strong aluminum frame, this adult folding eBike weighs just 64 pounds—which is surprisingly light given its powerful features. The XP 3.0 comes with a 500W nominal hub motor (up to 1000W peak) with 55nm torque. With a 20-amp, responsive controller, that acceleration is nearly seamless and absolutely exhilarating.
The XP 3.0 felt so simple and fun when cruising around the city. Equipped with five different pedal-assist levels, it can handle commutes, leisure rides, or moderate trails. The bike is comfortable up to a top speed of 28 mph, a Class 3 eBike, ideal for people who want a little shot of adrenaline in their morning reps. This Lectric bike review highlights the long-range internal 48V lithium-ion battery, which has a range of up to 65 miles on a single charge. This range fully eradicated my ‘range anxiety,’ turning long rides into back-to-back stress-free jaunts.
It has also not compromised on safety. Also featured are strong 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with motor inhibitors on the XP 3.0, capable of strong braking performance even in slippery conditions. The new front suspension — on which the long wheelbases are dependent — can reduce the bumps in the road as if it was a small pothole.
Lectric XP Lite 2.0: Compact Yet Mighty
On to something a little more lighthearted, I reviewed the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 for this Lectric bike review. (PHOTO: XP Lite 2.0) —At just 49-pounds the XP Lite 2.0 offers truly portable and convenient performance. It’s perfect for the urban community, able to be folded and stored in tight areas, whether you live in an apartment or a smaller home.
The XP Lite 2.0 is powered by a stealthy but powerful 819W peak rear hub motor made for long, quiet use. Its top speed is a little less, at just 20 mph (Class 1 & 2 eBike), but it provides for a fun ride whether you’re headed to work or looking to cruise through a nearby park. It was surprisingly nimble, easily threading city traffic and packed streets.
The battery life is impressive too, with two options—a 45 mile stated range battery, or a long-range model for up to 80 miles. This versatility suits the casual rider as well as the daily commuter. A color LCD display is high tech these days too, offering a clear, to-the-point showcase of your ride metrics, along with a USB-A port to charge mobile devices.
One of my favourite features on the XP Lite 2.0, it which was less noted in this Lectric bike review, was the Pedal Assist Wattage Regulation (PWR) by Lectric. This allows power delivery to be adjusted based on pedal assist as opposed to have limiting speed, resulting in a very natural and intuitive feel that makes pedal assist one of the most natural things you can experience on a bike.
Which Lectric eBike is Right for You?
Ultimately, which of these two great bikes you would choose between will depend very much on the specifics of what you need. For those whose priorities are power, range, and versatility for longer commutes or some trail adventures, the XP 3.0 is your bike. This premium electric bike features a sturdy construction, potent motor, and all day range.
Alternatively, if you’re all about portability, city-friendly agility, and lighter weight, we are well behind the XP Lite 2.0, a sensational balance of versatility and performance. With a compact design, strong performance, and modern features, urban cycling is categorized as fun and totally worry-less.
Final Thoughts: Why Choose Lectric?
The Lectric XP 3.0 and XP Lite 2.0 showcase why this brand has rapidly gained a loving following in the eBike world. These bikes deliver great value for first-time eBike buyers and are advanced enough for seasoned crank head cyclists with great frame quality, great features, fantastic battery life and solid safety features.
Lectric bikes don’t simply promise quality — it backs up its claims with enthusiastic customer support. In my own experience with rides on both models during this Lectric bike review I have been nothing short of impressed, confident in my rides and overjoyed to be putting my stamp of approval on Lectric bikes to everyone who is looking to change the way they get to and from work or need to get a little bit more green with their recreational riding.
There are many electric bikes on the market, but the Lectric XP 3.0 and Lectric XP Lite 2.0 stand out as two of the best options, and with Lectric, biking is easy, fun, and accessible for everybody. Join the eBiking revolution with Lectric; you will not be sorry!
